Senior Project Manager - Deployment Lead

As Senior Project Manager (called a Deployment Lead) you will lead a portfolio of pro-jects and together with a group of IT Project Managers you will be responsible for the deployment of our new warehouse management system. The Deployment Manager is responsible for the delivery of the integrated SAP EWM (Enterprise Warehouse Man-agement) Solution including integrations, development and configuration. This role is pivotal in driving the successful deployment of SAP EWN solution to all Novo Nordisk production site around the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Tactical Operational portfolio management and project execution
- Detailed solution deployment planning, preparation, set-up, readiness and cut-over activities.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Area roadmap responsible and ensure clear scope per project incl. deadline
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project objectives are met
- Team resource management: End to end area responsible, strategically and operationally for new teams and that team members are requested timely
- Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders at all lev-els of the organization.
- Support your Project Managers on delivering your roadmap
In this role, you'll be responsible for tracking and reporting on project and progres-sion, ensuring secure pre-analysis of projects and programs. Additionally, you'll play a key role in fostering team growth and providing constructive feedback to support con-tinuous development.
What we scout for
To be successful in this role, we require you meet most of the following:
- Academic degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Project Management or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive experience in planning and implementing IT systems for global transformations with a strong understanding of digital transformation and technology implementation
- Vast understanding of financial data and in running budgeting processes for mid-sized business Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge about working SAP solutions is a huge benefit
As a person you have a pragmatic mindset, and you are solution oriented. You can drive continuous improvement in a highly complex stakeholder environment. You can communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, using clear and concise language. And finally, you are result oriented and always have your eyes on reaching the implementation on time.

The department, WareX is anchored in DD&IT Product Supply, Supply Chain and is focused on implementing SAP EWM – an Enterprise Warehouse Management System, used across Novo Nordisk.
The WareX program at Novo Nordisk is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing our global supply chain operations through the deployment of advanced digital solutions. This program focuses on implementing the SAP EWN solution across all Novo Nordisk production sites worldwide. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, WareX aims to improve operational efficiency, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration of our supply chain activities. The goal is to enhance our ability to deliver high-quality products to patients around the globe, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
The team is primarily located in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and work together with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes to the next level.
