The job
Your task will be to head up projects and simplification initiatives within quality. The projects you oversee, will be very different in character, depending on the actual initiative needed, however they will always involve implementation across all parts of Novo Nordisk. You will additionally follow up on benefit realisation for the projects in cooperation with the business.
The projects you will be leading, will have a large business benefit across Novo Nordisk. You will use your leadership competencies and positive attitude to guide, support and lead the project team to the advantage of the business. 
You will be working anchored in Bagsværd but will collaborate with stakeholders from all around the globe. There will be occasional travel activities.

We envision a colleague with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as Senior Project Manager. You have a proven track record of successfully driving projects from early ideas to realised benefits, and your projects are executed timely without compromising on quality. We expect you to have experience in collaborating positively with many different stakeholders at various organisational levels.

Leading quality projects across Novo Nordisk, requires a person with strong leadership & change management skills and an excellent quality mindset. You are recognised as a project manager who motivates high performing and engaged project teams.

Competencies within our quality management processes or if you are familiar with IT projects will be an advantage.


It is an advantage if you are experienced in using Lean- & project management tools, eg. Agile project execution eg. SAFe/Half Double, Value Stream Mapping etc. We expect you to have experience in driving simplicity by use of e.g. Lean tools. 
Your personal qualities define you as robust, structured, a self-starter, and a great collaborator that always has a positive attitude. You never lose focus, despite changing demands or tight deadlines.
You have strong stakeholder management and communication skills including the ability to communicate complex subjects in an easy and understandable way and have excellent command of English, both written and spoken.


About the department
Quality Project Office, a part of Novo Nordisk Quality, is responsible for driving various strategic simplification and digitalisation projects across our quality management processes. Our ambition is to drive projects that ensures a robust and simple quality management system that supports Novo Nordisk in maintaining world class quality in the future. We drive projects that support Novo Nordisk Quality ambition, many of which focus on simplifying our processes and IT systems.
