The position
As a Senior Project Manager responsible for sidechain reagents, you will play a key role in managing projects that support the manufacturing of APIs for products within haemophilia, growth hormone, diabetes, and obesity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Project Management: Drive and manage a portfolio of projects of both small and large scale within the manufacturing of sidechain reagents.
- Team Leadership: Inspire and motivate the project group to deliver excellent results by ensuring clear project scopes, using risk management, and implementing transparent project plans.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a department representative in cross-functional and cross-organizational forums, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across MSAT, including management, Global Contract Manufacturing, process specialists, Senior Project Managers, Project Directors, Production, QA, RA, QC, and Sourcing, as well as CMOs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvement ideas in collaboration with stakeholders to enhance manufacturing quality, capacity, and sustainability.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead a critical function within MSAT, shaping the future of our API manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
We realize that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for:
- An academic degree (B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., or similar) in chemistry, pharmacy, engineering, biotechnology, or other Life Sciences.
- Several years of experience with project management within the pharmaceutical or medical device industries, preferably in MSAT or product development in a highly regulated setting.
- Excellent collaborative skills with experience in handling multiple key stakeholders at all levels and navigating a complex organization.
- Working experience with CMOs and knowledge within the manufacturing processes for biological APIs is preferred.
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

About the Department
In the Product Supply (PS) section of Novo Nordisk, we manufacture the pharmaceutical API backbone of our many quality products. PS API MSAT Manufacturing Support consists of four teams responsible for timely support of multiple drug substance processes. You will be part of a dynamic, well-functioning, and cross-functional team of process specialists and project managers. Our team thrives on professional challenges, working independently with great responsibility and commitment. We balance ambitious goals with a healthy and enjoyable work environment. Our primary location is in Bagsværd, with additional offices in Gentofte and Kalundborg.
