The position
As a Senior Project Controller, your key responsibilities, amongst others, will include:
- Driving and implementing Project controls framework in the projects.
- Manage and overseeing the financial and operational aspects of projects.
- Monitoring project progress through continuously tracking projects and provide actionable insights to project managers to ensure they meet deadlines and remain within budget.
- Manage commitment management process in collaboration with Procurement.
- Responsible to consolidate input from controllers and accountants for month end deliveries and deadlines.
- Monthly reporting delivered to senior leaders’ level to support and enable fast, compliant and data driven decisions.
- Implement, conduct, and maintain regular review meetings with project managers, work package owners and external vendors/suppliers.
- Dive into financial data, risk assessments to uncover trends and variances, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making.
- Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between forecasts, spend, and earned value.
- Support Project Managers and line managers with creating easy-to-understand presentations and reports for various meetings.
Qualifications
At Novo Nordisk, we appreciate no two people share similar experiences, however the ideal person will have all or most of the following:
- A degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management or similar.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in large investment projects as Project Controller.
- Track record of working with project management methodologies.
- Track record and solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, risk management and financial reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Fluency in both written and verbal English. Proficiency in Danish is an advantage.

About The Department
CFa Project Controls & Business Support is a growing team, anchored in CFa Strategy, Corporate Facilities (CFa). The team will support investment projects and financial processes across CFa. The focus will be on developing efficient standards and processes for projects and the CFa organisation.
The CFa Strategy team is part of Corporate Facilities, a department of almost 400 employees, that ensure well-functioning corporate infrastructure, and a safe and engaging workplace for more than 30,000+ colleagues across our Danish sites.
