The position 
As a Senior Manager for Process Managment, you will join the department Global Process Group where we oversee the process management across the Finish Product network. You will be leading a multicultural team of highly skilled and motivated Process managers responsible for quality processes, delivery processes, and other support processes. Furthermore, you will also be leading the supporting functions, where we have skilled technical writers and project managers.  

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • People management 
  • Building up the process management network in FPM together with the team 
  • Drive the project portfolio in the Global Process Group 
  • Align with management stakeholders across the network 
  • Translate the process leadership strategy into operation 

 

In Global Process Groups we prioritize being close to shopfloor across FP sites located in Europe, North America, and Asia to understand needs and build relations. We excellent at working virtually but some travel must also be expected. 


This job is currently based in Bagsværd, Denmark, but will relocate to Høje Taastrup, Denmark within a year.

 

Qualifications 

On a personal level, you excel in fast-paced environments and enjoy cross-cultural collaboration. You possess practical knowledge from shopfloor and have LEAN experience. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record, direct management experience, and the ability to lead stakeholders indirectly are preferred. You are a team player with a "can-do" attitude and you are eager to learn, innovate, and improve process efficiency. You prioritize the development of employees, and empowerment, and have an inclusive management style. 

 

To succeed in this role, you have to hold: 

  

  • A Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience in a multicultural environment.
  • At least 5-7 years of manufacturing experience, including exposure to assembly processes within GxP production or a GxP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
  • Proven expertise in project management within a global stakeholder landscape.
  • A strong track record of driving change, fostering engagement, and leading process improvements.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

 

About the department 
FPM Engineering is a part of Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM) with a team of around 50 colleagues working together to support and optimize processes across all global sites. Our primary responsibility is to drive performance in FPM on all assembly and packaging lines to ensure best practices.   

In FPM Engineering, we are committed to bringing value to our patients. We do so by supporting all sites with process standardization, ramp-up excellence, and technological leadership enabling Novo Nordisk to serve significantly more patients in need of our products.
