The position

As Senior Inventory Partner you will have many different responsibilities managing inventories and working with a broad set of key stakeholders in Novo Nordisk. You will be engaged in upstream and downstream supply chain as well as production and the commercial organisation.

 

Novo Nordisk is currently rolling out a new advanced planning solution, OMP, and you will join the project team to get thorough introduction to the system, capabilities and get an understanding of the functionalities.

 

You will be the translator from system to organisation, driving discussions and initiatives in specific parts of the supply chain and across the supply chain. With an overall insight into inventories and how inventories are calculated, you will act as change management and liaison when new models, systems or other inventory improvements must be designed and implemented.

 

As part of an international team, your roles will be:

  • Be a strong business partner within the entire supply chain organisation
  • Drive inventory management decisions
  • Drive inventory models and inventory processes
  • Drive inventory KPI management
  • Train and coach inventory management within the organisation
  • Drive innovation within Novo Nordisk inventory management
  • Participate in projects related to inventory management

 

As Senior Inventory Partner the balance of engaging with the stakeholders while driving inventory improvements across the supply chain will be key to success. Understanding the needs of the stakeholders and the business they operate in will be crucial to establish relationships for successful change management in this area.

 

Qualifications 

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or similar
  • Between 4-7 years’ experience within production planning or inventory planning e.g., in a partner role
  • Understanding of inventory models and inventory mechanisms
  • Very strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong presentation skills and change management abilities
  • Experience working in advanced planning systems (ideally OMP, otherwise Kinaxis)

About the department 
You will join a highly dedicated team with the responsibility of transforming the way that we do planning across our global network. We have an end-to-end focus from demand planning at affiliate level to the long-term and tactical S&OP horizon and further down to the operational production- and purchase planning. The project team is a large international and diverse team, with highly competent and engaged colleagues, and we have a global reach and engage with stakeholders across the Novo Nordisk supply chain.
