Let’s talk about the role

You will join our dynamic team of IT Project Managers and IT Architects anchored in DD&IT Staffs in Bagsværd.

 

The project in scope is leading the IT track within our Site Energy Upgrade Program. As our new Senior IT Project Manager, your focus will be to drive and generate value to the business, leading and managing cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of IT projects, from initiation to completion, within established timelines and budgets.

 

Furthermore, in this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and uphold comprehensive project plans encompassing scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource distribution

 

  • Oversee and tactically address project risks, proactively identify and resolve issues that could impact project schedules and outcomes

 

  • Foster stakeholder alignment and act as a liaison between DD&IT and the Line of Business (LoB)

 

  • Spearhead the preparation and guidance of steering group committees, proactively serving as the strategic IT partner and liaison between LoB and IT

 

  • Establish productive relationships with energy providers and other stakeholders to foster collaboration and align IT solutions with energy objectives

 

  • Leverage your experience in overseeing IT projects related to energy management systems, facilitating effective collaboration between IT and energy teams

 

What we’re looking for

We imagine that you have an academic background within a relevant field such as IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration, and can see yourself in most of the below qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience with IT project management and successfully delivering complex projects in larger and complex organisations, combined with strong IT project management skills and the ability to self-motivate and inspire your project team to achieve collective goals
  • Experience from pharmaceutical industry and understanding of validated GxP IT systems and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, managing resources, and resolving conflicts
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or other relevant project management certifications
  • Experience within energy design, energy infrastructure, or utility installations are a huge plus

 

Knowledge of agile methodologies, such as Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, ensuring that IT projects align with industry standards and practices, are desirable. Additionally, a basic understanding of operational technology systems, renewable energy solutions and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies is beneficial for enhancing overall operational efficiency and safety. Familiarity with the Network and Information Systems Directive (NIS2) would also be beneficial to ensure our IT infrastructure is both resilient and compliant with international standards.

 

As a person, we would like you to have excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capability to influence and negotiate effectively, as one of the focus areas will be to establish close collaboration with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, gather project requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

DD&IT Staffs is the IT and digitalisation partner for all Staffs areas in Novo Nordisk, where we are responsible for driving initiatives across Finance, Quality and Global People & Organisation. In DD&IT Staffs, we are around 175 people, located in Denmark, India, and USA, who come to work to ignite and drive digital chance within the Staff area.
