The position
You will be part of driving our ambition to be the best workplace as a socially responsible employer and strengthen our employer value proposition. You will lead your team, drive and implement our pension agreements and benefit packages offered to employees in the Danish part of the organisation. You will be responsible for the Danish benefit agenda which includes our flexible benefit program, company cars, annual parties, Christmas gifts, holiday houses, and more.
As part of the role, you will be monitoring and ensuring compliance with the Danish tax legislation. You will also be responsible for our back to work programme as well as our internal social counsellor function. You will engage with and have strong stakeholder relationships – both internally and externally.
The position is based in Bagsværd, but meetings at other Novo Nordisk sites must be expected.
Key responsibilities and main tasks
- Define and lead the department vision and be part of executing the P&O strategy
- Act as CoE within area of responsibilities and ensure transparent and compliant guidelines for leaders and employees to navigate within
- Drive projects which include negotiation, planning, branding, communication and execution
- Ensure sustainable scaling, make clear choices and prioritise correctly
- Involve and interact with stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and influencer
- Turn data into insights and relevant actions
- Ensure that strategy is translated to measurable results
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
- It is an advantage if you hold a master´s degree in law or similar
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience within human resources and leadership with experience in pension schemes
- Knowledge and experience with driving successful tender processes within the pension and benefit area.You have project manager experience and subject matter expert know-how.
- You have a proven track record in successful negotiations
- You create trust and followship in own team and ensure that the team possesses relevant competencies and capabilities. You are a true team player that seek to improve your team’s performance. You have experience with team management, change management, and a desire to set the direction for your team and develop their skills
- You have extensive experience of working with employee representatives, local unions and other relevant stakeholders. You thrive in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels.
You have excellent communication skills and work effectively as an independent and responsible team player in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks. With a solution-oriented approach and a positive can-do attitude, you take ownership of your responsibilities. Proficiency in English, in addition to fluency in Danish, is essential.
About the department
People Care & Benefits is responsible for the social responsibility and the benefits package offered to employees in the Danish part of the organization. We support managers and employees and engage with our stakeholders. The department consists of a manager with seven direct referrals and one indirect referral. This role report to VP, Head of People Relations, Anette In Sook Holmen.
