About the role
We are looking for a Senior Global Labour Law Specialist to join our newly established team Global Labour Law and Employee Relations. Our team provides expert guidance and oversight on labour law matters across Novo Nordisk’s global operations. You will work closely with our colleagues in People Relations, P&O business partners and senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with local and EU labour regulations and to drive global labour law alignment and best practice.
Key responsibilities
- Provide expert legal guidance and identify risks throughout M&A processes and on complex employment matters, ensuring compliance with employment law regulations.
- Support and advise on cross-border labour law cases, reorganisations, and projects.
- Help develop and implement global legal guardrails
- Further develop and drive a Global Labour Law network.
- Provide expert input into global labour law policies and procedures; support inquiries from senior management, P&O, and line of business.
Experience and qualifications
- Master of Laws or equivalent legal education. Admission to the Danish bar is preferred.
- Demonstrated in‑depth expert knowledge of global labour law legislation and practices, with 5-8 years’ relevant experience preferred.
- Proven experience advising on cross-border labour law matters, M&A-related employment issues and complex reorganisations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills; ability to work effectively across functions and cultures.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
