Are you passionate about Global Benefits and want to shape the future of Novo Nordisk's global benefits design and strategy? Do you have what it takes to lead and optimise benefits globally? If yes, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dedicated team of rewards specialists in our Total Rewards Development department.

Your new role

Since the role is newly established, this gives you a unique opportunity to help shape Novo Nordisk's global benefits direction. While local People & Organisation owns and administers benefits in their country, this role will define and drive the global minimum standards and provide guidance to support local teams to standardise benefits and enable a consistent employee experience in the countries with different lines of business.

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Designing and delivering a competitive global total rewards benefits strategy, ensuring a minimum common experience and philosophy regardless of employee location and a core level of benefits

  • Leading global vendor and insurance management for benefits, acting as the bridge between the global vendor team and local People & Organisations

  • Benchmarking global benefits and ensuring Novo Nordisk has the right global benefits in place – competitive and attractive within the market

  • Acting as the global expert for benefits, recommending and implementing changes to current processes to align with market benchmarks and business needs

  • Presenting insights clearly to management and cross-functional partners

  • Participating in or leading global Total Rewards projects alongside your primary focus on global benefits

Your new department

In People, Organisation & Corporate Affairs, you will be part of a team that enhances employee engagement and attracts top talent to ensure Novo Nordisk remains a premier choice for exceptional individuals. Together, we foster an inclusive workplace culture that empowers individuals to thrive and supports our mission to make a positive impact on people's lives.

Within this, you will join our Total Rewards Development department, whose core purpose is to drive rewards and foster an engaging employee experience by attracting, rewarding, and retaining our employees. The team works on key projects across the entire rewards lifecycle with a truly global mindset, collaborating closely with approximately 60 rewards professionals across 19 countries. As a virtual global team, we maintain a footprint across all geographical regions, covering all areas of Rewards.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a proficient and motivated individual who can bring the following qualifications:

  • A master's degree within Business or Human Resources

  • 3+ years of experience in Global Benefits / Total Rewards (or equivalent), ideally within a multinational organisation

  • Strong understanding of benefits and experience setting and applying global minimum standards to ensure a consistent employee experience across multiple countries

  • Proven capability in vendor and insurance management and governance, combined with a solid analytical mindset and the ability to evaluate market positioning and benchmarking

  • Strong stakeholder collaboration and project management skills, with the ability to translate strategy into clear communication using PowerPoint

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and lead projects end to end, communicating fluently in English
