The position

The role requires an experienced manager with a service mindset and a high personal drive to execute operations and development on several fronts. You will be part of a management group with colleagues in similar positions from other sites in Novo Nordisk, Denmark.

The main responsibilities are:

• Ensure stable operation in the critical supply areas by managing a department of competent colleagues who are passionate about their work and profession
• Secure high people engagement through empowerment, being present and supporting development  
• Standardize and conceptualize the maintenance processes, so that the department's current area of ​​responsibility can be scaled as the site grows
• Use of technology and implementation of other approaches to solve the tasks, e.g. the use of externals suppliers, is a prerequisite for the department
• Build solid networks with stakeholders at all levels at site Måløv
• Identify solutions and strategies to enable the site's growth in collaboration with employees and stakeholders

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed in this role, you hold an academic degree ideally from business school, an engineering degree, or marine engineering.

Other success criteria are:

• Experience in managing a department within utility supplies, production, technical systems or services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to create relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels
• Track record in securing stability in an operational area which is highly affected by project activities

About the department

SCMÅ is responsible for production-critical utility supplies and facility services for Novo Nordisk. The supplies include steam, water, electricity, HVAC, and more. The responsibility consists in ensuring stable and uninterrupted supplies via operation and maintenance as well as ongoing changes of the systems and energy data management and reporting.

SCMÅ also plays an important role within building maintenance, engineering, and the general infrastructures on the site including construction projects and coordination between the various NN units at the site.

Finally, SCMÅ has a growing role in coordination with the head office in Bagsværd, where SCMÅ must ensure that the corporate facility services are delivered effectively locally in Måløv.

Site Måløv is undergoing expansion with high level of investments, which affects the operation and spawns supply projects that SCMÅ must execute. Furthermore, there is an increased demand for SCMÅ's services, which also places demands on our concept and scalability.
