The position
As our Senior EHS Partner, you will lead the strengthening and execution of the AMSAT EHS Strategy in collaboration with the AMSAT management, striving for continuous improvements and awareness, involving H&S and E campaigns, promotion of preventive initiatives as well as safeguarding within the EHS field to ensure house in order.

 

You will be leading the required EHS Annual Wheel activities with support from the CVP EHS group and in collaboration with the elected local H&S representatives and responsible leaders across the AMSAT organisation and support in planning & executing internal and external EHS audits.

 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Set direction for and drive our daily work within EHS
  • Drive preventive work to ensure a healthy and safe work environment, both physically and psycho-socially
  • Collaborate with your EHS colleagues in assessing EHS impact on and risks of changes to the way we operate when introducing new equipment/technology, materials, work processes or facilities etc.
  • Roll out corporate EHS initiatives locally
  • Work closely with our elected Health & Safety representatives to support their day-to-day activities
  • Participate in AM EHS network, which includes our international sites
  • Ensure EHS annual wheel activities, e.g. annual workplace assessment, management review and reporting

Qualifications

Your experiences include:

  • Hold an academic degree within engineering, business, life science, or similar
  • Are experienced and have interest within health & safety (environmental interest is a plus)
  • Setting direction and execution within EHS
  • Deliver high-quality material for management review and reporting
  • Solid stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead using strong communication and change management skills
  • Have professional proficiency in English

 

You have a continuous improvement and quality focused mindset and able to work with a high degree of independence and ability to structure and prioritise work independently. You see yourself as being pragmatic and solution oriented.

 

About the Department

As the Senior EHS Partner in the Business Development & Operations team within AMSAT, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver value-adding support and solve challenges. You will be part of a dedicated CVP EHS group that includes a Senior EHS professional, Advanced EHS Supporter, and a Student Assistant, focusing on strong process execution and regular check-ins.

 

AMSAT supports global production sites by innovating manufacturing processes while ensuring quality and compliance. You will engage with a broad range of stakeholders, mainly in Denmark, but AMSAT is expanding globally. The team comprises over +1,300 employees across locations like Bagsværd, Gentofte, Hillerød, Kalundborg, and Søborg, with the main working locations being Bagsværd and Gentofte.

 

The Business Development & Operations team drive activities such as management- and admin support, financial planning, strategy, quality, facility and project management, along with environmental and health & safety (EHS) initiatives. The team consists of around 25 skilled professionals who values a fun, motivating, and development-oriented environment, fostered through social committee events, teambuilding, and development activities.
