Our Senior Director will take up new challenges in Novo Nordisk. So, we are looking for our next Senior Director for Supply and Formulation to join our Aseptic Manufacturing (AM) facility in Bagsværd.

The position 
As a Senior Director for Supply and Formulation at Novo Nordisk, you will: 

  • Define strategy and annual targets and break them down to each team. 
  • Develop and execute plans for Supply and Formulation, based on site strategy. 
  • Ensure presence at shop floor and drive continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Align Supply and Formulation plans and activities with site and group stakeholders. 
  • Maintain a high level of engagement and performance in Supply and Formulation. 
  • Develop skills and actively use feedback to foster a growth mentality. 
  • Secure sustainable succession planning for departmental key positions. 

 
Qualifications 
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at the following attributes, then you could be the person we are looking for: 

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within a production, manufacturing or supply chain environment, as well as experience with LEAN principles.
  • Diligent in leading leaders, including securing the right level of empowerment  
  • Strong strategic skills and ability in setting the direction and facilitate effective execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Ability to drive engagement and performance. 
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. 
  • Professional proficiency in English, and ideally able to work in Danish.

 

You will be operating in a highly paced production environment. To be successful, you can maintain strategic and tactical focus while supporting all teams in securing of high-quality output in compliance with industrial standards. When facing production related issues, you look for root causes and motivate your organisation to find solutions that are right first time. 
 
About the department
Supply and Formulation is responsible for mixing ingredients into product formula and washing & sterilization of all production equipment used further down the value chain in other departments. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production processes. The job is based at our AM productions facility in Bagsværd, where we foster a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere. 

The organization consist of approximately 200 employees organized in three support teams and eight production teams.
