Your new role
As legal business partner for our Global Manufacturing & Supply organisation, you will advise and support the departments responsible for the strategic sourcing and outsourcing activities related to Novo Nordisk’s production sites worldwide and the global management of suppliers. In your role, you will advise senior management and support internal stakeholders on large-scale projects, such as outsourcing and supply agreement, and act as the legal business partner on key strategic initiatives in the Global Manufacturing & Supply organisation.
You will:
- Assist and support on complex high-value and high-impact matters that attract significant senior management attention.
- Identify and assess critical legal issues, act pragmatic to find a way forward and support the business in setting out a strategy.
- Assist and support high-impact contract negotiations, including translating the impact of concessions for the business and drafting key legal terms. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to help guide their decision-making.
- Work closely with your colleagues in Global Legal, Intellectual Property and Security (GLIPS) and other colleagues across the world, leveraging all relevant competencies. ·
- Drive ad hoc projects and activities focused on optimising the way we work (e.g., improvements to our contracting setup and support model), managing assistance from external counsel, offshoring to our contracting colleagues in India, knowledge sharing, and training.
Your new department
You will be a key part of the high-performing, dynamic, and fun team consisting of 10 lawyers, 6 of which are all legal business partners to Novo Nordisk’s strategic sourcing and outsourcing department within Global Manufacturing & Supply organisation. The team is part of the Global Legal, Intellectual Property and Security (GLIPS), located in Novo Nordisk’s headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. Your skills and qualifications
- You hold a degree in Law or Business Law.
- + 6 years of post-graduation experience either from a law firm or a company with an international focus, and have a strong track record as a lawyer.
- You have strong legal acumen, including experience in drafting and negotiating international commercial contracts.
- You possess well-developed business partnering skills and an inquisitive nature, including a proactive approach to understanding our business and our stakeholders’ needs and enabling business results through best-in-class legal advice.
- You thrive as a specialist in cross-functional teams, are open be new ways of thinking and are able to adopt a broader mindset.
- You have strong written and verbal English communication skills, which enable you to clearly convey complex issues and navigate among stakeholders from different cultures and business functions.
As a person, you are personable, fosters a positive atmosphere, unites people, and builds strong connections. are resilient and have the ability to manage high-pressure stakeholder interactions.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 816,800.00 to 1,200,700.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
