The position
As a Senior Compatibility Scientist at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within product compatibility.
  • Set directions and deliver results in own role which has a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area.
  • Ensure product compatibility with process aids and primary packing and con-tribute to cross-functional project groups and professional collaboration forums.
  • Plan and execute compatibility studies in close collaboration with our lab. Technicians.
  • Prepare and review documentation such as study reports, protocols and suitability evaluation reports. Provide product compatibility support and expertise when issues arise and act as head of investigation for solving complex problems.
  • Answer Authority questions during filing and inspections, deliver quality and improvement initiatives across projects, and demonstrate ability to identify better practice and create improvements in methods, techniques, approaches etc. 

 

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

  • A PhD, master’s degree, or equivalent knowledge through relevant experience.
  • More than 5 years of multidisciplinary experience with polymer materials and/or with process aids evaluation in areas such as R&D, Manufacturing development QA, or other relevant areas.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical business and knowledge across the entire process of manufacturing biopharmaceutical products.
  • Proficiency in systematic problem solving, project management and change management.
  • Experience working with a broad stakeholder base, in-depth knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent English skills and experience as a presenter.

You possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. You are proactive and self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement and to reach out to people.

 

About the department
In Product & Process Interfaces, the Compatibility Science team is a Competence Centre at the heart of Novo Nordisk' as we handle Product Compatibility on process aids and primary packaging for the portfolio of all Novo Nordisk’s Injectable Drug Products and further supports all Aseptic Manufacturing facilities both internal and external with scientific knowledge. This is done in close collaboration with our colleagues in the Compatibility Lab. team. We work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; our department is dedicated to ensuring the quality of our products and the safety for our patients. We are a team of highly skilled specialists and scientist with a high team spirit, where we share best practises, learnings and support each other. We have a relaxed tone and strive for a great working environment, where we can develop our competencies.
