Senior Change Manager

The position

As Senior Change Manager in the Operational Excellence team, you will be responsible for maturing and setting directions for our IT Change Management journey in Global IT Operations (GITO) in Novo Nordisk. You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with our stakeholders globally.

Furthermore, you will:

  • Providing subject matter expertise and input on IT Change Management related processes and guidelines.
  • Drive improvements and implementations related to IT Change Management in GITO.
  • Guide and lead stakeholders in their IT Change Management maturity journey.
  • Build and maintain a strong, constructive working relationship with line of business and internally in GITO, focussed on achieving Business goals and Product Increment objectives.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver on both the short- and longer-term goals GITO.
  • Supporting operational excellence initiatives.
  • Identify candidates/areas for IT Change Management Improvement
  • Provide training and guidance activities to anchor high Change Management maturity mindset
  • Secure implementation of agreed process/guidelines improvements in GITO.

 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we believe that you should have:

  • Msc or BSc within computer science, business administration, engineering and/or several years of relevant professional experience within IT Change Management.
  • IT Process understanding and Process knowledge e.g. ITIL, COBIT or similar.
  • Strong quality and compliance mindset
  • Knowledge in Core IT Services and agile methodology.
  • Preferred Project Management experience

 

About the department

Global Service Desk & IT Support (ITS) is anchored within the Global IT Operations organisation and has employees based in different countries across the world. In Global IT, we work Agile, and in the ITS Product Area, we have four products and eight regional teams. The products cover Global Service Desk, Global On-Site Support, Operational Excellence, and Shared Support Solutions. You will be part of a continued journey to deploy and improve the Agile organisation and competencies.
