The position
As a Senior BI Partner in Corporate Procurement, you will work in close collaboration with senior procurement professionals, BI professionals, and other relevant stakeholders across our global organization, to generate the most insights from both internal and external data sources.

You will be part of a BI team consisting of strong and experienced business partners, data engineers and data scientist where you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and building technical BI solutions using the Power Platform (e.g. Power BI and Power Apps) with the purpose of creating actionable procurement insights and recommendations for relevant stakeholders
  • Supporting complex business cases and supplier negotiations through advanced analytics
  • Strategic advisory to senior procurement stakeholders related to e.g. new sourcing opportunities, resource allocation and performance management

 

Qualifications
As our ideal candidate, you are expected to have:

  • A master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or similar with excellent results
  • At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience e.g. within data analysis and business intelligence
  • Ability to drive own projects from ideation to delivery in close collaboration with stakeholders from different backgrounds
  • Hands-on experience with building dashboards (including data ingestion and modelling)
  • Experience with Power BI and other Power Platform applications is a plus

About the department
Corporate Procurement is the Centre of Excellence for procurement in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for the global procurement strategy, processes, and systems. We negotiate contracts covering more than DKK 60 billion of Novo Nordisk’s spend. Global Procurement has 500 employees around the world with the largest hubs in Denmark, India and the US.
 
A key enabler for taking Procurement to the next level will be to utilise advanced analytics and data modelling further to drive value in and from procurement. The BI team is responsible for driving this journey.
