The position

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will join a team of highly skilled engineers, technician and skilled workers supporting our filling lines in Bagsvaerd.  Your focus will be on improvements, upgrades and future proofing our lines to meet coming demands and requirements. Your tasks will amongst others be to:

 

  • Drive larger automation projects and digitalization.
  • Use systematic problem solving and a LEAN mindset to solve production issues, e.g. bug-fixing and optimizations.
  • Collaborate across many functional areas and with people from different backgrounds.
  • Assist your colleagues with subject matter expertise within automation and digitalization.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we expect that you have:

 

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree within automation and have deep technical experience from the automation/production industry.
  • A strong mechanical understanding of CAM and/or servo-controlled machines, including motion control.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technologies: MES, IOT and PLC.
  • Understanding of Automation architecture and IT solutions within aseptic production environment
  • Knowledge of machine vision and machine learning is an advantage but not a requirement.

 

Knowledge of GMP is an advantage but not a requirement.

About the department

You will join AM BA Line Filling, Technical Support located in 2H/6A at site Bagsvaerd, Denmark. AM BA, Line Filling is a senior director area where we are approximately 245 colleagues, some in operations and some in support functions. We are dedicated to delivering strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk by ensuring high-quality product for our patients.
