Senior Analytical Scientist within CCI & Physical Methods

Then you might be the right candidate for a job as a Senior Scientist in our CCI & Physical Methods team. 
 
The position
We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Scientist to be part of the journey of development and implementation of new technologies and methods for CCI from early phase to decommissioning.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Troubleshooting of existing methods.
  • Interaction with our main stakeholders. 
  • Input to and execution of the CCI strategy.
  • Support of newly implemented methods for all areas of Novo Nordisk working with CCI.

 

Qualifications 
To be successful in the role we expect you to have:

  • A Master of Science degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with development within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • A solid understanding of analytical chemistry and experience with deterministic as well as probabilistic leak test technologies is considered an advantage.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of documentation required in connection with development of analytical methods for QC laboratories. 
  • Preferably, you have in depth knowledge of GMP requirements regarding analytical methods and equipment.
  • Creativity and see the opportunity in new ideas and thrive in a changing environment.
  • Strong collaboration- and communication skills as well as stakeholder management.
  • A team-player attitude that motivates others around you and you find it natural to establish new relationships across teams and departments.
  • Proficiency in English, and if you do not yet speak Danish, you have the willingness to learn.

 

About the department
Analytical Science & Methods is a department in Aseptic Manufacturing Science and Technology consisting of about 70 employees in 3 teams. We are the central function for analysis of Novo Nordisk products during development, as well as for marketed products. The department is responsible for the development, validation and implementation of analytical methods before clinical phase 3 and the subsequent transfer and ownership of the methods to our QC laboratories across the world. We also support our colleagues globally with analytical knowledge and scientific help as well as drive optimization through innovation. We strive to do all of this in a collaborative environment of joy and curiosity in our department.
