DK Security Operations Centre
Bagsværd, Denmark
Do you want to help protect Novo Nordisk’s people, products, and property? Are you able to stay calm, focused, and organised in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment? If so, you could be our new colleague in the Novo Nordisk Security Operations Centre in Bagsværd.
We are looking for three Security Officers to join our DK Security Operations Centre, the central hub for security monitoring and incident handling across Novo Nordisk. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will help ensure a safe and secure environment. You will be responsible for:
- Handling a range of alarm systems in accordance with established protocols and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring alarms related to intrusion detection, fire safety, and personal security.
- Dispatching Alarm Patrol services through our partner companies.
- Supporting international calls outside office hours.
- Supporting ad hoc security tasks for stakeholders across Novo Nordisk.
- Coordination of physical security across Novo Nordisk.
As part of the role, you will communicate regularly in both Danish and English, ensuring clear and professional interactions with employees, visitors, emergency responders, and external partners. You will also have the opportunity to take ownership of specialist responsibilities, act as a system super user, and actively contribute to developing the future of security operations.
The Security Operations Centre operates 24/7. The shift pattern consists of eight-hour shifts, including approximately three weekends out of every five. We therefore expect that you are flexible working across different shift patterns, including evenings, nights and weekends.
Your new department
You will become part of the DK Security Operations Centre and Security Back Office team, consisting of 22 dedicated colleagues based in Denmark. Together, we provide critical security monitoring and response capabilities that support Novo Nordisk operations.
The department serves as a central hub for security incident management and crisis handling, delivering essential services that help safeguard people, facilities, products, and business operations. We pride ourselves on teamwork, professionalism, and a shared commitment to creating a secure environment where colleagues can focus on delivering life-changing treatments to patients around the world.
Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for someone with experience working independently in a monitoring-focused environment, where maintaining a high level of attention is essential. In this role, you will oversee alarms, CCTV, and other security systems while ensuring timely and responses to incidents.
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Experience from a Security Operations Centre (SOC), control room, monitoring centre, or a similar environment where you have monitored security systems, handled alarms and incidents and coordinated appropriate responses.
- Fluency in written and spoken Danish and English.
- Strong IT skills, including experience working across multiple digital systems and an interest in leveraging technology and AI-driven solutions to improve workflows.
- A valid driving licence and the ability to provide documentation of a clean criminal record.
- Solid experience using Microsoft Office.
It is an advantage if you also have:
- Additional security training or relevant experience.
- Experience from the pharmaceutical or medical industry.
- Experience working with GxP.
On a personal level, you work well both independently and as part of a team, and you are comfortable taking on significant responsibility. You adapt well to change and thrive when learning new systems, procedures, and ways of working.
You are service-minded and professional when interacting with internal employees and external guests, and you remain calm and grounded under pressure.
