The position
We are looking for a Science Business Partner to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) and execute on strategic communication and business efforts within CMC. In your daily work, you will support CMC Executive Office in driving impactful strategic communication across the organisation and externally using your solid science experience and strategic toolbox. You will drive strategic communication and develop engaging scientific content with clear messaging that resonate with internal and external audiences.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Support the SVP with your scientific background and act as a trusted advisor on strategic communication in CMC.
- Planning and executing cross-organisational events for leaders and employees in CMC.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and navigate a dynamic environment with multiple agendas, ensuring impactful and compliant scientific messaging.
- Incorporate scientific insights with strategic business content to create visually appealing and insightful content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Drive ad hoc communication projects and campaigns across CMC.
The position will offer frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network. The position is based in Bagsværd, and you will report to the Director of CMC Executive Office.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine you have a master’s degree within a relevant scientific discipline in combination with +5 years of experience from a scientific industry and a demonstrated ability to communicate impactful within the business.
Furthermore, you have:
- Experience in various strategic communication disciplines, such as technical writing, visual content creation, and scientific presentations.
- The ability to target different groups and make complex matters clear.
- Experience in event planning and execution.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities and the ability to build productive relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
Moreover, you know the Office 365 features by heart (including SharePoint, Viva Engage, Teams), and you master creating visually appealing presentations, that catch the interest of the audience.
On a personal level, you are tenacious and find it natural to stay on top of what is happening across the organisation. You demonstrate strong attention to detail, creativity, and is proactively driving impactful communication across CMC. Hence, you have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and approaches your tasks with structure, energy, curiosity and a positive attitude.

About the department
As part of the Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for non-clinical and clinical trials which is a complicated journey that requires about 10 years of dedicated work.
