Your new role
As SVP Personal Assistant, you will act as a trusted and highly independent administrative partner to the SVP and the SVP leadership team. You will operate with significant autonomy and judgement, supporting complex executive, organisational, and cross-functional activities, while exercising informal leadership across the administrative community.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing proactive, confidential and highly independent administrative support to the SVP and SVP leadership team, including complex calendar management and travel coordination

Acting as ambassador and trusted representative for the SVP and the SVP area, and communicating on behalf of the SVP to progress collaboration

Coordinating SVP-level cross-functional activities, meetings, events and seminars across the area

Collaborating with stakeholders on annual processes such as budgets, investments and HR cycles

Acting as proxy/delegate in relevant IT systems and owning department/area SharePoint sites

Facilitating onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth integration and administrative setup

Driving continuous improvement of administrative processes and ways of working, and providing informal leadership through mentoring, coaching and capability building for less experienced colleagues.
Your new department
Global Corporate Affairs is Novo Nordisk's integrated communications and public affairs organisation, bringing together around 150 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Bagsværd. As integrators, interpreters and storytellers, we strengthen and protect Novo Nordisk's reputation, help shape our external environment, and ensure a clear and consistent enterprise narrative across our internal and external engagements. We connect business priorities with stakeholder expectations to help enable long-term success for Novo Nordisk and the patients we serve.
You will be based at our headquarters in Denmark, working closely with the SVP, the SVP leadership team, the SVP Executive Assistant, the SVP admin team and the wider POCA PA community. This is a role where trust, discretion and collaboration are at the heart of everything you do, and where you will have a genuine platform to shape how administrative excellence is delivered across the SVP area.
Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for an experienced and highly independent Personal Assistant who takes pride in enabling senior leaders to perform at their best. To succeed in this role, you likely bring:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in administrative support roles, including complex calendar management, travel coordination and cross-functional collaboration

Proven ability to work independently, optimise processes and mentor colleagues, with demonstrated indirect leadership skills

Experience with IT systems, SharePoint site management and onboarding processes is highly desirable

A structured, organised and efficient way of working, combined with a service-minded, flexible and solution-oriented mindset

Discretion and loyalty in handling confidential information, and a professional, proactive and change-ready approach

Role model behaviour aligned with the Novo Nordisk Way, and fluency in English.

Salary and Benefits: The Annual Base Salary ranges from 570,200.00 to 838,100.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
A competitive benefits package is offered, including a pension scheme (currently 13% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution) in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement for Salaried Employees (Indutriens Funktionæroverenskomst or “IFO”).
Benefits package also includes a free choice account of currently 10% and 4% holiday allowance.
