The position
You will be the HR Business Partner to the SVP of Global Medical Affairs and will be part of the leadership team. Furthermore, you will work with your HR Business Partner colleagues in Development on cross-organisational P&O processes and initiatives. We work as one team and aim to provide enterprise, scalable P&O solutions to the business with a close eye on implementing those in a meaningful way in the local business areas. Your work location will be in Søborg.
Your main focus is to understand the business priorities and translate strategy into relevant and impactful HR actions, which among other things include driving:
- Organisational development and effectiveness
- Strategic workforce management
- Change management, culture and engagement
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Talent management & development
In close collaboration with the SVP area’s executive support functions, you will be in charge of continuously reviewing, assessing and evolving the business to drive organisational efficiency and agility. Furthermore, you will be shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way.
As a trusted advisor, you will build solid, trust based relationships with the business and the P&O organisation, identify challenges and play an advisory role in addressing them. You will be working closely with Centres of Excellence within P&O in defining and executing initiatives to improve the business areas’ ability to seize business opportunities and overcome challenges.

Other key skills and experiences you will need to succeed are as follows:
- Hold a relevant academic degree within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar
- Have 8+ years of experience within HR with at least 5 years of experience partnering with business leaders
- Experience working within a large, international and culturally diverse environment with focus on change management and organisational development
- Ability to think strategically and to translate business into HR actions, based on a thorough understanding of the challenges and future outlook
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding, situational knowledge, and stakeholder management. You find solutions and get people to collaborate, focusing on what matters most for the end-user, and you are an experienced process facilitator.
About the department
You will become part of the People & Organisation (P&O) Business Partnering unit and report to the Director of one of two P&O teams in Development. The P&O function for Development consists of 17 highly engaged and competent HR professionals who are split in two teams.
Our colleagues in Development strive to deliver best-in class, innovative treatment solutions to the benefit of patients. They are responsible for managing development and approval of new drugs and devices worldwide, from early development phases to product launch and beyond. They provide medical and scientific expertise and documentation for authorities and decisions makers broadly, while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
