About the role

You will work in the SAP Expansions and NextGen warehouse Program collaborating with colleagues that are also delivering into the program’s roadmap. In your role you will lead project managers who have the responsibility for the infrastructure and hardware set-up for all projects as well as project managers responsible for existing operation activities such as upgrades, patches and evaluating the system’s operation maturity to ensure close to zero unplanned disruptions. Your role will be critical to ensure we have a solid operation set-up which includes internal set-up with existing systems and areas as well as collaboration with external partners/vendors. You will be overall responsible for the system operation budget in the program. You will work closely together with the EWM Core Product Manager, Deployment leads and others in the program.

 

Your key responsibilities will fall into these primary areas:

  • Take overall responsibility for system & operation set-up to support the SAP Extended Warehouse Management solution across existing facilities
  • Collaborate with vendors and other relevant parties to look at operations of the future along with ensure new teams and team members are requested timely to support the above
  • Overall budget responsible for operation & maintenance as well as infrastructure.
  • Have an overview of overall project landscape translating it to O&M roadmap highlighting deliverables as well as handle timely escalation of changes to roadmap if needed
  • Stakeholder management and ensuring strong partnership with other O&M areas ie. PAS-X/MES operations, Infrastructure area (GITO), production sites, and other relevant parties
  • Ensuring smooth business operations of the area with the ambition of 0 unplanned downtime, measure quality of support and set requirements to vendors when support is delegated to 3rd parties
  • Ensure 0 variance on finances and backfill for your track along with handle the outlook of resource ramp-up need overall in the program

 

Expected skills

We expect you to have:

 

  • Master’s degree in business, IT or another relevant field and ready to go into a strategic area
  • 7+ Years of experience in operation & maintenance management.
  • Can-do attitude and like to juggle different tasks at the same time
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Savvy in understanding financial data and in running budgeting processes for mid-sized projects
  • Solid understanding of IT operation and maintenance in large organizations, preferably with Pharma experience

You will join a diveres group with different nationalities, experience, and a very dedicated and fun to work with. The program has currently 36 team members as part of the central team including a few externals.

 

The program is anchored in DD&IT PS Supply Chain and focused on implementing IT solutions to support Novo Nordisk’s production as well as supply chain needs worldwide. We set the strategic direction and ensure that processes across production lines and supply chain are automated and optimised.
