The position
As our new Scrum Master you will foster a learning culture, and enhance team progress, ensuring a steady delivery flow. You will be the Scrum Master responsible for a DevOps scrum team with members located in Denmark, India, the UK, the Philippines, Hungary, and China, working on the implementation and maintenance of IT Systems, particularly Vault Quality.
 
You can expect to also be responsible for:

  • Facilitating team events and ensuring efficient delivery by preparing, moderating, and postprocessing discussions
  • Coaching the scrum team, mediating conflicts, and fostering a collaborative working environment
  • Tracking and addressing impediments, escalating issues when necessary to ensure seamless workflow
  •  Driving the Novo Nordisk Agile way of working, incorporating Agile Delivery Model, Azure DevOps, Agile Quality Management System (QMS), and Agile Sourcing
  • Actively engaging in the recruitment process for new members, make requests for extra capacity to the RTE, and serve as a change ambassador to promote a learning culture and Agile mindset within the team.
  • Together with the 4 other Scrum Masters, RTE, and the Agile Coach improving the overall maturity level of the ART

 
To succeed in this role, you must embrace the servant leader mindset, empowering people to change without formal authority. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, as the team members and stakeholders across the organization, are located globally.
 
Do you have what it takes?
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have most of the following:

  • An academic background in a relevant field such as Business-IT, Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Profound experience with Lean-Agile methodologies, ideally certified in Scaled Agile Scrum Master/SAFe DevOps
  • Experience with technical IT delivery teams formed by different profiles such as Developers, Functional Experts, Testers or similar
  • Knowledge of implementation/maintenance of IT systems, ideally within the Veeva Vault product suite
  • Capacity to effectively build followership and coach a team to adapt the agile practices, principles, and values
  • Ability to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation, and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives and build communities
  • Great communication skills, and you feel confident also dealing with difficult subjects.

You will be joining Quality IT – a department with 8 passionate and experienced IT professionals. The team is part of the organisation Digital, Data & IT Staffs (DD&IT Staffs) and you will work in Bagsværd, Denmark. The DD&IT Staffs area consists of around 100 dedicated employees in Denmark and 110 in India, responsible for the implementation & development, support & maintenance and operation of IT projects and applications for the DD&IT Staffs area in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of an agile, inspiring, and ambitious work environment, where advanced use of IT and teamwork are key. 
 
Via your role as Scrum Master, you will be part of the Vault Quality Agile Release Train (ART) which comprises of around 70 engaged team members working in 5 Scrum teams, comprised of both IT and the line of business. Knowledge sharing with peers and learning is an integral part of the job, and you will be able to build on our collective experience in your own development as well as in maturing the ARTs and its members.
