The position

In this role, you will engage in detailed development of robotics and automation solutions from understanding of the customers’ needs, insights mapping, technical requirement specifications, to the development and testing of prototypes.

The main tasks will be to:

  • Generate innovative ideas to meet user requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop functional prototypes from initial concepts and conduct rigorous testing to ensure their functionality, usability, and quality.
  • Translate project requirements into clear instructions, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as end-users, project managers, and leaders, to ensure project success and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Engage with external suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth integration of their services and products into our solutions.

 

Please note this is a temporary position until November 2025.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset. As you will be working and collaborating with people from various departments and background in the organization, you need to be a good communicator that can adapt to different audiences.

  • A strong technical background, preferably within robotics and automation, mechatronic or relevant experience.
  • MSc or BSc in Science, Engineering, Technology or/and Mathematics.
  • Experience with UR robots
  • Knowledge of ROS2 is a plus.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Furthermore, you  possess a quality mindset and strong attention to detail. You have a keen interest in working within a GMP environment. Additionally, your excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills further support the capability to excel in this role.

 

About the department

You will be part of our Engineering department in Aseptic Manufacturing Technology & Innovation. Your working place will be primarily in Bagsværd but we do also have a test facility in Kalundborg. Your home team will be Automation and Robotics, a dynamic and international team of 8 highly skilled engineers. The engineering department consists of other important colleagues such as Mechanical, CFD and Validation engineers.

The department work with creating new solutions to maximize capacity, reduce unit cost and im-prove compliance for aseptic filling lines all over the world.
