Bagsværd, Denmark

Are you ready to rethink how finance and accounting work in a global healthcare company? If you have experience with SAP S/4HANA, accounting and SAP BTP, and want to combine this with AI tools to design and implement solutions for our finance organisation, this is your chance to shape the future of finance at Novo Nordisk.

Your new role

As our new Project Manager Record-to-Report Process Excellence, you will be at the heart of our journey to modernise finance and accounting processes through technology. You will play a key role in the product vision for our SAP S/4HANA and BTP solutions within the Record-to-Report (R2R) space, working closely with finance and IT to deliver smart, compliant and future-ready solutions.

Day-to-day your tasks will include:

  • Defining and prioritising the product backlog for SAP S/4HANA and BTP solutions, maintaining a clear roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborating with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specifications and align features with priorities
  • Ensuring SAP solutions remain compliant with evolving financial regulations and statutory requirements through proactive reviews and audits
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation by integrating emerging technologies, including AI, into SAP S/4HANA and BTP functionalities
  • Facilitating cross-functional communication between IT and finance teams, resolving challenges and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Leading workshops and discussions to ensure mutual understanding of deliverables and to keep development teams aligned with strategic goals

In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, we enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil our purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of 2,300 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

You will join the Record to Report Process Excellence team, where we are on a journey to rethink finance and accounting processes through smart use of technology. Together, we combine deep finance expertise with cutting-edge digital capabilities to design solutions that elevate how our finance organisation operates every day, and at scale.

Your skills & qualifications

We are looking for a Project Manager who is equally at home in finance and technology, and who is excited about combining SAP expertise with AI-driven innovation. To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience working with financial systems, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP solutions, including a proven track record in project management within finance or accounting
  • Strong understanding of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and financial compliance standards with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into robust system design
  • Solid project management skills, with experience leading end-to-end SAP implementations and guiding teams through transitions to new ways of working
  • Strategic thinking and strong stakeholder collaboration skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
  • A meticulous, problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills to turn financial data into actionable insights and drive continuous improvement
