Project Manager
Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK
Your impact begins here
As Project Manager, you will help the VP of People Relations turn complex people and business priorities into clear decisions, aligned action and measurable progress. You will advise, challenge assumptions and lead selected cross-functional initiatives from definition to adoption, freeing the VP to focus on leadership and enterprise impact. Your work will help priority people initiatives land well, supporting the colleagues who serve people living with serious chronic diseases.
What you’ll bring
You are a structured, trusted thinker who can turn complexity into practical recommendations and keep things moving across organisational boundaries.
- At least 5 years’ experience in HR project management or a similar role.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience preparing concise, decision-ready material for senior leaders.
- Strong business understanding, analytical skills and sound judgement in turning complex issues into practical recommendations.
- The ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity while ensuring progress.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence delivery without formal authority.
- A proactive approach, sound prioritisation and disciplined follow-through.
- Discretion, and the confidence to challenge constructively and raise issues respectfully.
- Professional fluency in English.
- A relevant master’s degree and experience from a people function, consulting or working closely with a senior leader are advantages, but not essential.
- Familiarity with global employee relations and labour law is helpful, alongside the ability to work effectively with subject-matter specialists.
What you’ll do
You will prepare, align and follow through so that decisions turn into results. In your first year, success means the VP receives timely, concise decision material, selected initiatives reach agreed milestones with evidence of adoption, and risks and delays are raised early.
- Advise the VP as a trusted partner on agreed priorities: challenge assumptions, develop options and recommend practical next steps.
- Turn complex topics into concise briefings, presentations and decision material, including positions, anticipated questions and draft messages for the VP’s review.
- Keep an overview of priorities, initiatives and upcoming decisions, and recommend what to prioritise, defer, simplify or stop.
- Anticipate emerging issues and escalate material risks or delays early, with an assessment of impact and a recommended response.
- Lead selected cross-functional people initiatives and on-going tasks from definition through implementation, adoption and follow-up, with agreed outcomes, owners and milestones.
- Secure accountable owners and deadlines, track progress and outcomes, and represent the VP in selected discussions where explicitly delegated.
Who you’ll work with
You will report to the VP of People Relations and be part of the People Relations leadership team based in Bagsværd, Denmark.
Your closest partners will be the VP and leadership team, PO Business Partners and relevant global Centres of Excellence. You will also work with enterprise stakeholders and project teams across functions and countries, connecting local needs with global expertise.
You will work hand in hand with the VP’s Personal Assistant, who manages daily executive support and leadership routines. Together you will coordinate planning and keep ownership clear, so work moves forward with clarity and pace.
What you can expect here
You will work close to senior leadership, with the trust to act independently within an agreed mandate and a voice in how priorities are shaped. You will build new skills by leading initiatives across functions and countries, and you will be supported to perform at your best, with clear expectations and honest feedback.
