If yes, then you could be our new Technology (Tech) Project Director to explore and develop our API processes in Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) API Development. You will be part of the API Process Capacity Project and join a small team of dedicated Project Directors and Project Managers that all do their outmost to improve the future. The Position
tep into a pivotal role where your expertise will shape the future of tech projects with senior management attention. With direct reporting to the Tech Project Vice President (PVP) you'll have the unique opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of exciting tech initiatives throughout research and development, closely collaborating with our manufacturing development teams and facilities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Craft Strategies That Matter: Lead the charge in preparing and executing impactful project strategies, continuously reevaluating impact and rescope plans as the projects and manufacturing landscape evolve.
- Navigate the Project Lifecycle: Take ownership of technology projects within API processes, steering the projects through ideation, discovery, development and handover for implementation.
- Foster Relationships That Drive Success: Build and nudge strong internal and external stakeholder networks to secure progression of your projects.
- Inspire and Motivate Project Teams: Lead cross-organizational project teams with a supportive and motivating approach, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with experience from navigating in a complex project and stakeholder landscape as well as high-level of senior stakeholder management attention. To succeed in this role, you have:
- a Master or PhD degree within a relevant field of scientific expertise such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar.
- several years of scientific and technological experience in combination with both people and project management (+5 years) from R&D or manufacturing development.
On a personal level, you have a strategic mindset and strategic communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex challenges and combine knowledge and business understanding into concrete solutions. You display a high level of independence, personal engagement, drive to reach results as well as integrity, seeking optimal trade-offs when faced with constraints.
About the area
The CMC API Development area is part of the CMC Product & Process Development organization with approx. 420 employees. We develop robust and reliable API processes for the entire Novo Nordisk drug candidate portfolio. This involves transferring API processes and knowledge from research to production, supplying nonGMP API for early phase projects, providing GMP API for microdosing studies, and ensuring virus and mycoplasma safety.
