Product Owner - Case Management, Global HR portal

“askHR” is the one point of entry to HR in Novo Nordisk, where employees can perform self-service for their HR related tasks, contact the regional service centres and find descriptions of global HR concepts and processes as well as guides and policies specific for a country or region.

 

We are implementing askHR across the globe and are looking for a new Product Owner for Case Management to help us improving the portal further. You will play an active part of maintaining the portal, driving the Case Management strategy as well as setting priorities of the activities within the Case Management team.

 

About the department

In Global People & Organisation Services (GPOS) we provide simple, cost-effective and compliant P&O solutions to employees across Novo Nordisk.

 

The role is based in the askHR Portal unit within GPOS, where we operate and develop the askHR portal to support employees across Novo Nordisk, performing their HR related tasks and the HR operations performing their tasks efficient and compliant.

 

The askHR Portal unit consist of three teams: Case Management (1), which is focusing on maintaining and optimising the system for agents handling questions from the employees, developing forms and Services, and securing the portal is integrated to other relevant systems. Portal Usability and Knowledge (2) is focused on improving customer experience, and securing articles and other content is available for the end-users, while the Launch Team (3) is implementing the Portal in new countries, thus moving HR processes from being handled locally to be handled in a regional Shared Service Center.

 

On a daily base, you will be part of the Case Management team, which is a global, agile team of highly engaged HR- and IT professionals driving development and maintenance of the related to case management of our HR portal. We collaborate closely with stakeholders across the globe and encourage a quality mindset and proactivity.

 

The position

You will be a key contributor to the strategic direction of the askHR portal, and being responsible for setting the direction and prioritising activities within Case Management part of the portal, ensuring our agents can work as effective as possible in the system.

 

As the Product Owner for the Case Management team, you will be part of developing the product roadmap, engaging with stakeholders across the globe, converting their needs into new functionalities.         

 

As part of this, you will be focused on understanding your stakeholders and being able to convert business needs and ideas into the benefit it will create for the business. and hereby being able to prioritise the order and what should be developed.

 

In the position you will work according to SAFe principles, working within two weeks iterations with all the related ceremonies, and business needs being described in Features and User Stories.

 

Qualifications

You are a strong communicator, who can convey a compelling purpose and vision with passion and urgency on all levels of the organisation. Furthermore, you can translate strategy into ambitious goals with clear priorities.

 

You are an excellent team player, mastering stakeholder management, and can convey what the customer needs and not only what they want. You are analytically strong and able to convert the business needs into business impact. Furthermore, you are an excellent facilitator between your stakeholders and the team, securing the business benefits are realised.

 

As your team and stakeholders are spread across the world, it is important that you have experience in working with many different cultures.

 

Although it is your nature to find good solutions and walk an extra mile for your stakeholders, you can also live with the fact that you will not be able to deliver everything and that some of your stakeholders might not be satisfied with your decisions.

 

It is an advantage if you have experience with development of digital solutions for end users – and even if you have work with Service Centres or ServiceNow before.

 

In order to succeed in this role, we imagine you having having  an academic degree probably within the field between HR, Project Management, or IT. You have an understanding of what it means to work in a corporate context and you understand HR processes and the cooperation with service centres. Besides, it is an advantage if you have been working as a Product Owner or at least have some foundational insights into SCRUM and SAFe principles.

 

English proficiency in writing and speech is necessary.
