Process Analytics Partner - Celonis

Category:  Data & AI
Location:

Bagsværd, Capital Region of Denmark, DK

There has never been a better time to join Procurement at Novo Nordisk. We are driving a global procurement process optimization program where analytics is a key enabler – converting complex data into clear insights and real business impact. If you want to build high-impact BI, elevate source-to-pay excellence by process mining and analytics, and succeed in a fast-moving, stakeholder-rich environment, this role is an exciting opportunity.

Your new role
As our new Process Analytics Partner - Celonis, you will play a key role in driving the adoption and value realisation of Celonis within Corporate Procurement. You will take end-to-end responsibility for analytics activities that enable process transparency, performance insights, and continuous improvement across the Source-to-Pay cycle. You will be working closely with experienced data and BI professionals, procurement system and process specialists in Denmark and India, as well as category managers and other key Procurement stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing ETL pipelines by collecting, cleaning, and transforming transactional event data from source systems such as Coupa and SAP to create high-quality data pipelines
  • Driving process discovery by building automated process models that reveal the actual "as-is" workflows, including process variations, exceptions, and compliance gaps
  • Analysing process performance to identify root causes of friction, such as long cycle times, repeated rework, bottlenecks, and inefficient handovers
  • Designing and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and KPIs that track performance trends, monitor adoption, and measure the impact of process improvements
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across Procurement, system, process, and analytics teams to translate analytical findings into actionable improvement initiatives and strategic roadmaps
  • Supporting value realisation and adoption of Celonis by identifying high-impact use cases, enabling users to act on insights, and embedding process analytics into decision-making across the Source-to-Pay cycle

Your new department
In Finance, Legal & Global Solutions, we enable Novo Nordisk to fulfil our purpose by safeguarding the business, providing corporate infrastructure, and driving value creation. We are a team of 2,300 colleagues primarily based at our headquarters in Denmark and our Global Business Services centres in India and Mexico.

Within Finance, Legal & Global Solutions sits Corporate Procurement. Corporate Procurement is the Centre of Excellence for procurement in Novo Nordisk. We are responsible for the global procurement strategy, processes, and systems. We define and drive the global procurement strategy with around 150 employees in Denmark and over 500 globally, acting as a strategic partner in executing the company’s strategy and enabling value at scale. A key enabler for taking Procurement to the next level will be to leverage holistic insights to drive value in and from procurement. The Advanced Analytics team is responsible for driving this journey.

Your skills & qualifications
We're looking for a curious and structured professional who enjoys turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You'll bring with you:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business administration, supply chain management, computer science, or a similar field
  • 2–5 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related field. Experience in a procurement or supply chain context is a plus
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development
  • A structured problem-solving approach, able to break down complex business questions into clear analytical tasks,
  • A strong team and can-do attitude – you can work both independently and collaboratively
  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders across functions, communicating data and process findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

It is an advantage if you have practical experience with Celonis or another process mining tool, as is familiarity with ETL principles and data pipeline development, including extraction and integration from procurement platforms such as Coupa or SAP. Also, exposure to cloud data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric or Azure Databricks is an advantage, along with curiosity about how process intelligence and AI-assisted analytics can improve procurement reporting and decision-making.
