We are looking for a pilot technician for our spray drying & freeze-drying facility in our purification pilot plant located in Bagsværd.

 

Purification Pilot Plants develops and optimizes purification and spray drying or freeze-drying processes for the manufacturing of active ingredients (API) for most of Novo Nordisk products.

 

The department is a part of CMC API Pilots with approx. 300 employees, responsible for production of API for all the development projects within Novo Nordisk. This includes fermentation, cultivation, chemical synthesis, and purification.

 

You will work in an environment with a high focus on documentation, quality, and traceability, and it is vital that you can see yourself in this environment.
 

Our technologies include chromatography, modifications, filtration, freeze drying and spray drying and centrifugation. The job is a mix of production, and optimization as well as establishment and updating of SOP´s and instructions. We often follow processes from preclinical to phase 2 and are therefore able to set our mark on the future process. You will experience a dynamic and flexible working place with many opportunities to both contribute and develop.

 

You will be a part of a dedicated team of 5 (3 technicians and 2 scientists).

We value the following competencies in our new colleague:

  • An AP Graduate in Nutrition and Technology or similar with hands-on experience preferably on spray drying processes or from protein purification
  • Preferably you have 2-4 years of experience within equipment, processes or production and knowledge within GMP
  • Skills and ambitions for working with digitalization is a clear advantage
  • Experience from development laboratories or pilot-scale production
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
