About the role
We are looking for a candidate to take up the position of People Leader in Digital, Data & IT Product Supply (DD &IT PS), in the Delivery Team “Production”. This area is responsible for global IT & automation (OT) solutions used across all production facilities in Novo Nordisk. Specifically, you will be part of the Monitoring and Control Systems (MCS) Centre of Excellence (CoE) team and support an organization of over 30 employees and 30 external consultants
In the role of People Leader, your key responsibilities will include
- Ensuring a healthy, engaging, and inclusive work environment
- Attracting, onboarding, and hiring new employees
- Developing and motivating people, including coaching and mentoring
- Managing rewards and performance management and facilitate cross-organizational knowledge sharing
- Budgeting, driving and supporting local initiatives
- Being part of the leadership team where you will be part of resolving or escalating impediments and driving continuous improvements
- Driving organizational strategies within and across the MCS CoE and the DD&IT PS Production area, and providing strategic workforce planning guidance to the area’s leadership team
As a People Leader, you will report to the VP of DD&IT PS Production DD & IT PS and be part of the broader leadership team. You will partner up with the Head of the MCS CoE and work closely with within MCS CoE and related stakeholders and will be responsible for the development and growth of 20-25 people primarily based in Ballerup (Denmark).
Which competencies to bring?
We are looking for someone who is passionate about People Leadership in the context of IT and Production and loves working with people and dynamic team in a fast-moving environment.
The ideal candidate for this position should meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a similar job
- Strong experience in Agile methodologies, preferably in a leadership role
- Previous track record of effective management and development in diverse environment
- Proven ability to provide strategic advice on workforce planning
You’re first and foremost a servant leader for people and can challenge the status quo and inspire the team. As a person, you are structured and systematic when both building and executing on strategies and have a proven track record to show your impact in your previous professional experiences.

As part of DD&IT, our area is the strategic function that is responsible for driving DD&IT initiatives across our production sites in Novo Nordisk within our global manufacturing network. We are transforming our system landscape and running ambitious projects within our expansion programmes, all the while maximizing capacity for our existing production facilities to ensure that our products can reach the most patients. Your future team consists of people leaders working as part of our agile delivery organisation, as well as delivery leadership roles who together set the direction for the MCS CoE.
