The position

You will be part of “AM Brownfield Site Integration”, a newly established unit in Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM). The unit aims to maximize production capacities at the acquired Catalent sites; integrate them into Novo Nordisk, aligning with the PS AM operating model and set the strategic direction for the integration program. We are seeking candidates for three departments with varying focus (maximization, integration and strategy, planning & analytics). The PMI Project Manager, Project Manager or Business Partner will be responsible for supporting and driving integration projects and efforts to enable the full transition from current operating model to target operating model together with selected workstreams. The specific responsibilities will include:

  • Drive integration and/or business case enabling activities and projects post-closing from scoping and planning through execution and follow-up with stakeholders to fulfil project goals and deliverables
  • Support integration and/or business case enabling initiatives in integration projects for the organisation and people being acquired
  • Provide support for AM Brownfield Site Integration and towards selected senior steering groups
  • Collaborate across functional workstreams and the broader integration project 

In this role, you can expect 5-20 days per year of global travels.

 

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have: 

  • 3-5 years of experience from consulting and/or from a strategic business partner role in a larger company preferably a pharmaceutical company. Pharma experience is an advantage
  • A track record showing strong ability to drive complex, strategic or transformational projects with high involvement of senior management - and the toolbox to support 
  • Business sense and a keen understanding of data-driven decision-making and how to successfully communicate complex topics in a simple way 
  • A flair for understanding what tactically drives progression towards strategic objectives for organisation and people
  • Experience from M&A either on buy or sell-side or large transformational projects as well as experience from Pharma are clear advantages but not pre-requisites
  • An Academic degree in business management, engineering, natural science or similar combined with experience from mergers and acquisitions, post-merger integration and/or project management
  • Professional proficiency in verbal and written English.

About the department

The AM Brownfield department at Novo Nordisk is responsible for integrating three newly acquired sites from Catalent into our organization and enable realization of the business case. It is a part of Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing (PS AM), which is the largest unit in Product Supply and supplies products for all therapeutic areas in Novo Nordisk.

 

PS AM is the largest unit in Product Supply, and we are responsible for all aseptic manufacturing in Novo Nordisk. We are more than 12,300 people working in five different countries (Brazil, China, Denmark, France and USA) operating seven factories/sites.
