The position
As our new PLM/CAD System Manager, your main responsibility is to ensure that our PLM and CAD systems are the optimal foundations for our engineers. 

 

You will:

  • Drive the strategic effort of rolling out our PLM system to a broader part of the organization and to align and standardize the way we work in the future.
  • Be responsible of all tasks from optimisation to coordination and execution of application upgrades and mentoring of users.
  • Drive system administration of our PLM/CAD/CAE systems. This includes activities that enable virtual development, improving cross organisational development processes and tools, PLM/CAD end-user training and support, and ensuring our IT system’s compliance (risk assessments, IT security, validation). 

 

Qualifications

To be successful in the role we expect you to have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar and minimum 5 years of working experience.
  • Experience with CAD, CAE, PDM and PLM systems, preferably 3DExperience.
  • Experience in supporting, configuring, maintaining and developing PDM/PLM systems.
  • A solid analytic approach to problem solving.
  • Strong collaboration and mentoring skills.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.

You thrive in an extrovert role, building relations to end users and super users across a large organisation, and finding solutions that support their needs. Moreover, you have a systematic approach and strong documentation skills.

 

About the department
You will be a part of our Engineering department in Aseptic Manufacturing, Technology & Innovation. Your work location will be primarily in Bagsværd, however, you will also work with colleagues in Gentofte and Kalundborg. Your home team will be Mechanical Innovation, and mechanical engineers will be your closest colleagues. The engineering department consists of other engineers and specialists within Mechanical Design, Automation and Robotics, CFD, Virtual Development and Validation. We are also responsible for an Innovation Lab in Bagsværd and a Test Development Center in Kalundborg.

The department work with new solutions to improve capacity and compliance for aseptic filling lines globally. It is an energetic, inclusive and open-minded team, and we have recently implemented the 3DX platform and Catia. We are now ready for the next exiting steps in our PLM journey, where we need you to be in the driver’s seat.
