About the Department
You will become part of the “M&A and Change Management”-unit in the SVP area “P&O Business Partnering” located in Headquarters in Bagsværd, Denmark. We are a dedicated team of 5+ people who values an informal, pragmatic and social working atmosphere with a direct communication style.
The team is responsible for driving local people and organisation integration initiatives and activities globally for Novo Nordisk acquisitions. We are part of a larger department that drives strategic workforce planning and activities that support the organisational development of Novo Nordisk on an enterprise level.
The position
The P&O PMI and Hypercare Manager is responsible for supporting local HR and employees after taking over the acquired company and until the hypercare support period is mutually agreed to be delivered by the integration office and global P&O functions with the purpose of creating a positive integration experience. You will be relied upon to:
- Help set direction for the local integration plans and be able to guide stakeholders to fulfil project goals and apply corrective actions when necessary
- Support integration initiatives in the M&A integration project for the organisation and people being acquired
- Provide support for the local P&O organisation including providing trainings and help facilitate engagement with the global P&O organisation
- Collaborates across functional workstreams and the broader integration project
Success criteria include welcoming people and challenges with a smile, help setting direction and timely ensure solutions balanced by local needs and global standards in situations characterised by uncertainty and complexity.
Projects can be within Research & Development and Product Manufacturing and the ability to quickly learn and bridge the culture between innovative biotechs or process-heavy manufacturing environments and Novo Nordisk corporate culture is an integral part of the job.
Travelling will be required between 30 to 60 days per year and working across time zones during projects, depending on where the acquisition takes place.
This role reports to the Director of M&A and Change Management, Michael Bell Poulsen.
There will also be an additional Fixed Term Assignment available for this position.
Qualifications
The person we are looking for has:
- 3-5 years of experience from consulting and/or from a strategic HR BP role in a larger company
- A track record showing strong ability to drive complex, strategic or transformational projects with high involvement of senior management - and the toolbox to support
- Business sense and a keen understanding of data-driven decision-making and how to successfully communicate complex topics in a simple way
- A flair for understanding what tactically drives progression towards strategic objectives for organisation and people
- Experience from M&A either on buy or sell-side or large transformational projects as well as experience from Pharma are clear advantages but not pre-requisites
