Turn complex chemistry into future manufacturing solutions

Passionate about peptides and peptide-protein modifications? Join a role where advanced organic chemistry directly shapes future manufacturing processes for innovative therapies. As an Organic Synthesis Chemist (Development Scientist) in our Early-Stage Protein Modification teams, you will apply your expertise in drug substance process development or API manufacturing to solve complex scientific challenges in a strategically growing area.

Working at the forefront of technology, you will collaborate with highly skilled colleagues and external partners while deepening your scientific expertise in a state-of-the-art environment. This is an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge chemistry, influence early-stage process development, and help bring new therapies closer to patients. Apply today.

Your new role

As Development Scientist in our Early-Stage Protein Modification team, you will develop and scale robust chemical modification processes for recombinantly produced proteins. From non-clinical development through phase 2 clinical trials, your expertise will directly contribute to bringing innovative treatments to patients worldwide.

Your main objectives will be to:

  • Use your strong synthetic skills within peptide-protein modification for the manufacture of APIs and chemical intermediates
  • Apply your team working abilities to effectively progress our projects from discovery through early development stages
  • Balance internal and external laboratory activities aiming to develop robust and scalable processes, suitable for manufacture of APIs and related compounds
  • Generate relevant technical documentation in development reports for use in later filings

Your workplace is in Bagsværd, where we have new state-of-the-art chemistry laboratory facilities. These facilities are situated at the centre of an expanding chemistry hub, placing us in an inspiring environment in very close proximity to our key stakeholders, e.g. chemistry, recombinant, and purification pilots and other Chemistry, Manufacturing & Control (CMC) Development teams. You will be part of this dynamic work environment and impact the future directions for the development of manufacturing processes in a company with a growing focus on chemistry.
