Your new role
In this role, you will combine an analytical mindset with a structured approach to data management, ensuring that finance master data is governed, centralised, and positioned as the trusted source to unlock the value of finance data and support scalable digital and AI-driven solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring high-quality finance master data across the organisation on a global scale
  • Building and engaging a global finance data community and fostering a stronger data-driven culture
  • Designing and operationalising master data management in close collaboration with stakeholders across Global Finance, Global IT, and GBS
  • Supporting the centralisation of governance structures and processes
  • Creating consistent standards, reliable data, and globally scalable finance use cases
  • Contributing directly to the foundations that enable scalable finance transformation

 

Your new department
The Global Master Data and Processes team is anchored within the Data and AI organization of
Finance, Legal & Global Solutions. As a key enabler of Novo Nordisk’s digital transformation, the team ensures that SAP S/4HANA finance master data provides the trusted foundation required for scalable, AI-driven solutions, stronger automation, and smarter decision-making across finance and enterprise functions.

 

You will join a highly experienced team committed to shaping the future of finance at Novo Nordisk. By combining a strong analytical mindset with a passion for Master Data Governance, you will help centralise finance master data and reinforce it as the single source of truth.

 

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a profile with a strong interest in the financial architecture of global organisations and a passion for Master Data Governance. We imagine that you bring:  

  • Relevant experience within finance, master data, and/or data governance, supported by a relevant master’s degree
  • Experience building and engaging professional networks in an international environment, ideally across finance communities or data governance domains
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and exposure to more advanced data management environments such as SAP BW/SAC, SQL-based solutions, Informatica, Winshuttle, Bizzdesign, or PowerApps
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, Signavio, or SAP BusinessObjects (an advantage)
  • The ability to combine data, technology, and business understanding to support governance, insight generation, and continuous improvement across finance processes
  • Full professional proficiency in English

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651.000,00 DKK to 956.900,00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.

 

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
