Your new role
As Manufacturing Project Manager, you will lead cross-functional projects that shape how our aseptic manufacturing site in Bagsværd develops and performs. From new technologies, machines and processes to building construction, production-line improvements and production upscaling, you will take projects from initial concept through to implementation. Your work helps the site produce more and work better – supporting the supply of treatments for people living with serious chronic diseases.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and facilitate cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
- Engage and align internal and external stakeholders around clear goals and decisions.
- Establish project plans, milestones, governance and reporting that keep work moving.
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, resources and dependencies, and speak up early when things stall.
- Track project performance and follow through on delivery of agreed outcomes.
- Communicate progress, challenges and decisions plainly to the people who need to know.
Your new department
You will join the Project Management Office in Bagsværd, a team of 10 skilled and diverse project managers led by Nicholas Muren, Senior Manager of the Project Management Office. Together, the team manages a portfolio covering new technologies, machines and processes, building construction, production-line improvements and production upscaling.
The Project Management Office is part of Business Support and Inspection, which is responsible for projects, logistics, finance, LEAN, training, inspection and warehouse. Bagsværd is part of the production network for Aseptic Manufacturing at Novo Nordisk. Day to day, you will work with colleagues across the site, local stakeholders and external partners, bringing different expertise together so decisions are made and projects move forward..
Your skills & qualifications
You are a structured, self-motivated project manager who builds trust, engages stakeholders
and creates ownership around shared goals.
You also bring:
- A relevant degree, preferably in a STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and the ability to give clear direction while keeping momentum through changing priorities.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Proficient spoken and understood Danish, as you will work closely with local stakeholders.
