The position

As the Manager of Data and Digital Team, you will develop and implement the data and digitalisation strategy for the CVP area, ensuring alignment with broader corporate objectives on SVP and EVP levels. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of data professionals and digitalisation experts, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance.

 

Additionally, you will be tasked with:

  • Managing the portfolio of data and digitalisation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the strategic goals of the CVP area.
  • Overseeing data management practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams and all departments across the CVP area to identify opportunities for digital transformation and drive initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Being responsible for cross-functional challenge and improvements, setting direction, and improving processes to ensure fulfilment of SoOp business objectives and strategy.

 

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Academic Degree within Business, IT, Supply Chain, or similar.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience within IT, business support/development, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong stakeholder’s management experience.
  • Experience in people management will be a significant advantage, but if you are just beginning in this area, we will support your development.

About the department

You will be part of the IT, Data & Digital department, which is responsible for building and managing data insights, driving digitalization and innovation in processes within Sourcing Operations (SoOp), implementing new IT equipment and ensure life-cycle and operations of existing. SoOp has overall responsibility for the incoming supply chain at Novo Nordisk and consists of more than 600 dedicated employees.

 

You will join a diverse and high-performing team with a variety of backgrounds in data analysis, innovation, digitalization, IT, and project management. We use our differences to create novel ideas and high-quality solutions to ensure continuous improvement of the Sourcing Operations function globally.
