The position
As a Manager- Counterfeit Product Protection at Novo Nordisk, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product protection strategies. You will have the responsibility to ensure that skills and competencies in the team are in place to support the future growth of the area and, together with your team, you will ensure that we build and maintain a close collaboration with our stakeholders. Simplicity is built into our processes and the way we work, which remains a continuous focus in the department.
To succeed, you must be a visible leader, who is good at listening to your team and who sets a clear direction. You provide sparring and coaching, and you support the thriving and development of your employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the Product Protection Team
- Ensure operational responsibility
- Serve as the Process Owner Delegate (POD) for handling falsified medical products
- Identify and implement training and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance processes
- Ensure training of stakeholders in product protection processes
- Improvement and optimization of processes to match stakeholder needs
- Drive selected improvement projects
You will report directly to the Director and will be a member of QAS management and OSQ leadership team.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- MSc in Natural Science e.g. Engineering, pharmacy or equivalent background
- GxP background with a good understanding of regulatory requirements, including GMP and GDP
- 5+ years of relevant experience with strong people skills including 2+ years as people manager
- Extensive experience in international pharmaceutical industry
- Solid business understanding and knowledge of the Novo Nordisk organisation and product portfolio
- Proven track record of creating business results
- Experience in working internationally and with many different stakeholders
- Proven change management experience or a strong experience in project management
You have a can-do approach, you are self-driven and can work independently but understand that teamwork is on top of the agenda, and a requirement for us to succeed.
About the department
Quality Affiliate Support (QAS) comprises of 3 teams. One team of 12 highly qualified people who are responsible for overseeing quality compliance and optimizing processes in affiliates worldwide. In addition, the area includes a team in Global Business Services in India supporting affiliates on core Quality processes. Finally, it consists of the team in questions handling counterfeit cases and managing the process of ensuring confirmation of possible pharma crime cases. The department is diverse on many levels; backgrounds, knowledge, education, nationality, and competences, which is crucial and mirrors our need and ability to understand and help our colleagues worldwide.
