The position
The focus of this role is act as the maintenance and reliability technical owner of packaging lines globally, managing the fleet. It is crucial to ensure alignment on standardization levels across the lines.
The position gives a chance to provide incredible stakeholder management within the sites globally, reviewing failure modes and keeping documents updated!
As a Maintenance and Reliability Specialist, you will:
• Work on change request cases and be directly involved in approving them with a maintenance and reliability technical background.
• Conduct RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) studies to drive reliability and creation of maintenance plans.
• Drive implementation projects of CBM (Condition based Maintenance) and PdM (Predictive maintenance)
• Own the maintenance and reliability strategy for packaging lines, update equipment Taxonomy, RBM (Criticality and Maintenance Assessments, FMEAs/RCM, etc.), SOPs (MWD/FITs), and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) from the global to the site level.
• Evaluate changes and ensure documentation and standards are updated and maintained.
• Facilitate workshops globally to ensure competency and knowledge in Maintenance and Reliability, and to collaborate with production sites, quality, and process teams to enhance maintenance recommendations.
• Drive maintenance improvement and obsolescence projects with aim to improve equipment maintenance and reliability, also to assess new equipment designs for reliability and ease of maintenance.
Qualifications
As a person, you show a great degree of responsibility and independence whilst you possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, acting between and serving many stakeholders, which requires a flexible attitude.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
• A bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of technical Expertise with strong understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and maintenance engineering principles
• Proven experience in reliability engineering and maintenance optimization from pharma, GMP regulated or FMCG industries
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance.
• Teamwork and communication skills to work effectively across departments.

FPM Engineering is part of Finished Product Manufacturing (FPM), with a dedicated team of around 50 colleagues. We work collaboratively to support and optimise processes across all global sites. Our primary responsibility is to drive performance in FPM on all assembly and packaging lines, ensuring best practices.
