About the department
The department is part of the Supply Chain Tactical Planning anchored in the central Global Supply Chain Planning unit. We are responsible for launches of new products and tactical/strategic S&OP, where we ensure supply chain resilience & network optimization for Novo Nordisk. We are a diverse group of around 50 colleagues of more than 19 different nationalities with various educational backgrounds. The Supply Chain Launch Office consists of 11 colleagues.


The position
As Launch Project Manager you will be responsible for the launches within a portfolio of products, and you will need to ensure timely product availability for the launches. The launch planning and preparation requires cross-functional collaboration which you will do by driving the Launch Coordination Group that typically comprises Regulatory Affairs, Sourcing Operations, Production sites, Quality, Shipping, Global Marketing amongst others. Key elements of the job include securing the roll-out plan, launch speed, ensuring launch pre-requisites are in place in a timely manner.

 

Launch coordination is an area of high volatility and rapid change and re-planning is a frequent task in your daily work. Additionally, you will participate in the ambitious strive for simplicity and robustness in product availability planning and participate in various other standardisation projects.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has:
 

  • Several years of experience with Supply Chain Management and project management (preferably in a pharmaceutical setting)
  • Relevant university degree within Supply Chain, Finance, Business, Engineering or similar
  • Strong skills in creating and maintaining relationships across a global organisation, as well as clear and precise communication
  • An analytical, data driven mindset with a strong interest in production management and planning.

 

Furthermore, you must have the ability to work independently using your sound personal judgment to make wise decisions and to ask when in doubt.

 

As a person, you are a self-starter who thrives with driving tasks and cross organisational projects independently and you are motivated by ambitious goals. Your analytical skills enable you to challenge complex problems and processes and to prioritise your efforts in an optimal way. You possess excellent interpersonal skills and are keen on engaging people and setting direction to achieve project specific goals. Additionally, you work in a
structured way and have a talent for planning and following up while keeping a focus on both quality and results. Lastly, you write and speak English fluently.
