Do you want to help Novo Nordisk reach more patients than ever before? Are you passionate about the environment and motivated by legal requirements? Are you eager to strengthen environmental and construction compliance, as well as sourcing and procurement at Novo Nordisk? Are you looking for a hands-on internship to complement your studies? Then you may be one of our new interns in Environmental Responsibility at Novo Nordisk HQ.
Your new role
We are hiring interns in the following positions to support the Environmental Responsibility department, a part of the CEO office, Corporate Strategy & Sustainability:
- Construction compliance intern: you will help build a structured, reliable, knowledge base by strengthening how we capture, classify and retain critical documentation, enabling efficient collaboration and a high level of compliance across our sites. You will help optimise the archiving process, improve usability and ensure the right information for the right people at the right time.
- Environmental compliance intern: you will support with initiatives related to driving environmental compliance such as process optimisation, training development, update of internal guidelines and system setup to support environmental compliance at our manufacturing sites including collection, handling, assessment and presentation of data and project support.
- Circular for Zero Sourcing & Procurement intern: you will actively support the Responsible Sourcing Programme and the Environmental Sustainability track. The role combines hands on operational support with exposure to supplier engagement, contract negotiations, and global procurement processes. You will act as a first point of contact for stakeholders through our environmental procurement mailbox, support sustainability related communications, data management, and contribute to projects across the team. Through close collaboration with internal teams and suppliers, you will also help strengthen environmental sustainability governance by supporting compliance tracking, documentation, and clear stakeholder guidance.
In all three internship positions, you will work closely with colleagues and key stakeholders across Novo Nordisk to turn requirements into practical, compliant solutions, and you will contribute to real tasks that support our compliance obligations and sustainability priorities from documentation and governance to continuous improvements.
Your skills & qualifications
All applicants should be students who are energetic self-starters, keen to make a difference, and do a great job. They should also have natural curiosity in the field of environmental compliance, construction compliance, or sourcing and procurement. In addition, we are looking for successful candidates to have:
- Construction compliance: an interest in (or background related to) construction law, library and information science, IT and communication. You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s/master’s degree in construction engineering, law, library and information science, data science or similar.
- Environmental compliance: knowledge of environmental topics/issues and environmental law including compliance frameworks. You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental management, sustainable management, environmental/ chemical engineering, environmental chemistry or similar relevant education.
- Sourcing & Procurement: knowledge of environmental topics/issues related to supply chain and production. You are currently pursuing a master’s degree in environmental management, sustainable management, environmental/chemical engineering, environmental chemistry or similar relevant education.
In addition to the above, you can conduct data analysis, you have experience with MS apps such as Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, and you have strong communication skills, both in writing and verbally. As a person you are service-minded, detail-oriented and thorough with a can-do attitude. It is a requirement that you are fluent in both oral and written English and have great interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits: if allowed by the educational institution from where the Intern is enrolled, the monthly salary is fixed, and the monthly base rate is 15.900 DKK plus a pension scheme (currently 10% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution).
Practicalities
Please indicate in your application which of the positions you would like to apply for. The internships are available for 6-12 months, the first 6 months are on a full-time basis. Start date is from 01 August 2026 or 01 September 2026.
We will host dedicated recruitment days for selected candidates including interviews and related activities. These are scheduled for June 8th, 9th, and 10th 2026. Please ensure you are available on these dates as no alternative interview days will be offered.
