Internship in Corporate Environmental Strategy

About the department

Corporate Environmental Strategy is responsible for driving the environmental agenda in Novo Nordisk. We are 10 dedicated project managers and specialists all highly engaged in driving the environmental strategy of Novo Nordisk. This includes a variety of environmental initiatives across the organisation and with external stakeholders. Examples of the department’s work are ensuring environmental reporting for Novo Nordisk annual report, running a cross-organisational project on how to reduce Novo Nordisk environmental footprint – Circular for Zero and ensuring environmental legal surveillance all by engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.   

 

The job

You will support initiatives related to environmental legislation, among other things EU’s chemical legislation “REACH” and the Circular Economy Action Plan. This includes the collection and assessment of compliance data delivered by suppliers and colleagues across the organisation. The job will also include an evaluation of new global environmental legislation and how to implement this in Novo Nordisk.

   

Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who has environmental/chemical knowledge. You are currently studying for your master’s degree in environmental/chemical engineering, environmental chemistry or similar relevant education. General knowledge of environmental issues will be an advantage. You can conduct data analysis, prepare chemicals assessment, and you are a good communicator both in writing and in speaking. As a person, you are service-minded, detail-oriented and thorough with a can-do attitude. It is a requirement that you are fluent in both oral and written English and have great interpersonal skills.

 

Practicalities

Qualification: Students in the first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6-12 months.
