Help shape ethical business practices across a global organisation. As part of our Internal Audit team, you will use your audit and compliance expertise to protect patients, support responsible decision-making, and strengthen trust in Novo.

Your new role

As a Business Ethics Auditor in Group Internal Audit, you will help strengthen ethics and compliance across the Novo Group by providing independent assurance and identifying opportunities for improvement. Working across a broad range of business areas, you will evaluate whether key controls and processes are operating effectively while supporting a culture of integrity and accountability.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Lead end-to-end business ethics and compliance audits, from planning and scoping through fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up actions.
  • Assess compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption requirements, interactions with healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations and public officials, patient engagement activities, third-party management processes, and data privacy requirements.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to gather evidence, discuss observations, and support the implementation of remediation actions.
  • Analyse data and audit evidence to identify control gaps, emerging trends, and potential compliance risks, documenting findings in a clear, balanced, and objective manner.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of digital solutions and monitoring tools used within Internal Audit.
  • Contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance practices across the Novo Group.

Your new department

In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the global organisation, gaining exposure to both headquarters functions and affiliates around the world. Working across a wide range of business areas, you will contribute to strengthening governance, compliance, and risk management while building a broad understanding of the business and its operations.

Your skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you combine strong ethics and compliance expertise with a curious, analytical mindset. You are comfortable working independently, building productive relationships across functions and cultures, and translating complex information into clear, evidence-based insights.

To succeed in this role, you:

  • Hold a master’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Law, Business Administration, Auditing, or a related discipline.
  • Bring at least two years of experience in Ethics & Compliance within an international company in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer goods industry.

  • Take a proactive and independent approach to your work, with the confidence to lead audit assignments and navigate complex compliance topics.
  • Are willing and able to travel internationally (approximately 50–70 days per year) to support audits across global affiliates and operations.

The following would be considered an advantage:

  • Experience in internal or external audit.
  • Knowledge of data privacy requirements and related compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and their practical application in analytical, monitoring, or audit activities.
  • Proficiency in additional languages beyond English.
