Your new role
As Business Ethics Auditor in Group Internal Audit, you will plan, execute and report on ethics and compliance audits across the Novo Nordisk Group. You will assess topics such as anti‑bribery & anti‑corruption, interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), Healthcare Organisations (HCOs), Public Officials (POs), engagement with patients, third‑party management and data privacy. You will also contribute to digital audit tools and may support financial, ESG audits and investigations received via the whistle‑blower system.
Day‑to‑day your tasks will include:
- Plan and lead end‑to‑end business ethics and compliance audits, from scoping and fieldwork to reporting and follow‑up.
- Evaluate compliance with anti‑bribery & anti‑corruption rules, HCP/HCO/PO engagements, patient interactions, third‑party oversight and data privacy requirements.
- Interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation to gather evidence, discuss findings and drive remediation.
- Analyse diverse datasets to identify control gaps, trends and potential compliance risks; document findings clearly and objectively.
- Support development and enhancement of digital and monitoring tools used in internal audit activities.
- Participate as needed in financial or ESG audits and investigations from Novo Nordisk’s whistle‑blower system.
Your new department
You will join Group Internal Audit (GIA) based at Novo Nordisk’s Headquarter in Bagsværd. GIA is a compact, multinational team of 26 colleagues providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee across Business Ethics, ESG, Finance and IT. From here you will audit both HQ functions and global affiliates.
Your skills & qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Hold an M.Sc. or diploma in Finance, Business Law, Business Administration, Auditing or a related discipline.
- Have a minimum of three years’ experience in healthcare compliance and/or auditing in an international company, law firm or accounting firm.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work with varied data sets to form evidence‑based conclusions.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with stakeholders at all levels in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in other languages than English is an advantage.
- Work proactively and independently with assertiveness, capable of leading audit assignments and navigating complex compliance issues.
- Be willing and able to travel internationally (expect 50–70 travel days per year) to audit affiliates and operations around the world.

Salary: for this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 570.200,00 DKK to 838.100,00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position. The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: the salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
