Join us in building the apps of the future for Novo Nordisk production. Are you tech-savvy and excited to collaborate with experienced software developers, designers, and business professionals? If you're eager to improve our understanding of apps and users through data, we want to hear from you!

We are looking for a rare talent, a 'unicorn,' who can not only enable data through engineering but also derive insights through analysis and visualization.

The Internship: You will be part of a highly engaged development team focused on digitalization and data-driven decision-making. You will explore data, software, and technology while interacting with end-users on the production shopfloor.

You’ll be supporting two app product teams in developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards used to measure user adoption, usage patterns, and business realization outcomes.

This is an internship where you can learn, be challenged, and create value at the same time.

Technical responsibilities

  • Prepare data reports primarily using Power BI, including data modelling, dashboard development, report optimization, and visualization best practices.
  • Work with the Microsoft Platform and Microsoft Azure, ensuring proficiency in cloud development and familiarity with Azure services for data processing and storage.
  • Create integrations to the backend using REST/JSON-based APIs. Experience with REST/JSON-based APIs is a plus.
  • Apply ETL tools and automated data pipeline creation in your work, demonstrating experience with ETL processes.
  • Support the department with data analysis and reporting to identify trends and drive data-driven decision-making through effective stakeholder communication.
  • Engage constructively with users to gather feedback and insights for application improvement.
  • Experiment, test, fail, and learn continuously!

Key Skills

  • Power BI and Databricks
  • Proficient in C#.
  • Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) is preferable; however, strong SQL skills are also acceptable. Candidates should be adept at writing and interpreting KQL/SQL to extract and manipulate data from Azure services and other sources.
  • Knowledge of database design and data warehousing.
