The position
As an Integration Project Director at Novo Nordisk, you will:
- Manage independently major project(s) with cross-functional impact, assignments, and deliverables, specifically pre-merger-planning and post-merger integration.
- With your team, ensure relevant governance, budgeting, advisory, Day 1 freadiness, target operating model, integration exit readiness, and exit scoping
- Act as a thought leader in the integration field and contribute to defining and executing the integration strategy.
- Communicate and ensure alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage recognized methodologies to run cross-disciplinary projects where key R&D, commercial or production skills and knowledge are required.
- Lead through other project managers directly or indirectly to achieve milestones and objectives.
Anticipate business challenges and plan for mitigation; recommend process, product, or service improvements. You should be able to represent Novo Nordisk externally as a Subject Matter Expert on Introduction, including training, lectures, and conferences. You would also build a global project manager network across functions and foster a culture of collaboration to generally contribute to the development of a functional strategy. Training and mentoring more junior team members to further their development is an important part of the role.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in business, finance, strategy, or similar.
- Subject matter expertise within one or several key functions (IT, HR, Legal, Finance, Quality, etc.), demonstrating thorough understanding.
- Previous exposure to a regulated industry, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Experience in leading a Post-Merger Integration Management Office or Integration Workstreams on multiple occasions.
- Proficiency in navigating a multinational corporate environment with an international, multicultural context.
- Leadership experience within a team and project setting.
In addition, it is an advantage if you have previous experience within general Change Management and dealing with SAP complexities in an integration and corporate environment. Furthermore, we will see it as an advantage if you bring international consulting or audit experience from the pharmaceutical sector.
