The position
As Implementation Lead QA, you will be responsible for implementing new external warehouses, ensuring the right quality level at Novo Nordisk external warehouses. In the role, you will have to gain deep insight into the processes at NN external warehouses, ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and be able to communicate with a vast variety of people with different cultures across the globe.
Your key responsibilities will be but are not limited to:
- Implementing new external warehouses and ensuring the right quality level. This includes their Quality Management system, licenses/certificates, warehouse validation, etc.
- Drive the Quality agenda and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Novo Nordisk QMS during implementation of new external warehouses.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) & Good Distribution Practise (GDP) compliance at Novo Nordisk external warehouses.
- Write, review, and approve quality related documents, such as Quality Agreements, etc.
- Perform on-site QA present at NN external warehouses.
- Participate in relevant audits with external suppliers and internally in Novo Nordisk
Further, you will help with improvements both between NN and the external WH, and in their own processes
Our department is currently located in Bagsværd, Denmark, with plans of moving to the new Novo Nordisk site in Hoje-Taastrup, Denmark, in by the end of 2025.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Hold an academic degree in e.g., supply chain, logistics, chemistry, biology, engineering, pharmacy, or similar field.
- Have 1-3 years of relevant experience within quality assurance, and/or have a good knowledge of both GMP and GDP
- Preferably have experience with audits and knowledge of validation processes.
- Have worked with quality processes related to supplier handling.
- Be fluent in English both written and spoken.
On a personal level you are ambitious, sociable individual who is ambitious and thrives under pressure, adept at implementation projects with tight deadlines and crucial milestones to deliver exceptional results.
Finally, you demonstrate great communication skills, this includes being able to communicate and collaborate with different nationalities and cultures.
About the department
Supply Chain QA is responsible for Quality Assurance of and support to Supply Chain Planning and Logistic activities, including cold chain distribution of Novo Nordisk products worldwide, production planning across the entire Novo Nordisk supply chain, and data management and governance across Novo Nordisk. The department has 27 employees and is expected to grow in the coming years.
In our daily work we work closely together with Supply Chain, primarily Global Logistics & Distribution – our Line of Business, whom we support in quality matters, are involved in high impact projects, and set quality direction for. You will become part of a team focusing on ensuring the quality level at our external warehouses, operated by suppliers. It is a team which have a high level of self-governance, good working relations, are informal and value professional sparring and good humour highly.
